Blessings of Easter to one and all.
The more I contemplate my faith and my ministry here at Our Lady of Lourdes and beyond, I am totally convinced of the great love the Father has for all of us; and today as we celebrate Easter, it is yet again a reminder, a huge reminder, of the Father’s love for us as His children. As John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life.” Again, affirming the Father’s love for us and His ultimate desire that we all be with Him in everlasting glory.
Our parish participation has grown tremendously. We have many new families, we have many families that visit in the winter months and every weekend, we have people who visit the area, coming to worship. As a leader in this community, it is gratifying to see people come together to worship as a community, building the Kingdom of God. To me it is a reminder of God’s presence in our midst.
In these days, I pray that you find peace, strength, courage and the presence of God the Father in many different ways; in the gentle smile of a friend, in the encouraging words of a work colleague, in the kind gesture of a stranger – all acts of kindness, sharing His love.
May the Good Lord continue to bless you and yours.
Every good wish,
