The Our Lady of Lourdes Council of Catholic Women (CCW), established in 1948, is a vibrant ministry of faith, service, and fellowship with approximately 65 active members. Together with our parish family of more than 1,100 households serving Melbourne, West Melbourne, and Palm Bay. Guided by our mission of faith, service and fellowship we support our local community.
Throughout the year, the CCW supports individuals and families in need by collecting and providing food, clothing, toiletries, baby items, and toys to local shelters, nursing homes, pregnancy resource centers, and community outreach organizations. These ministries are made possible through our annual fundraising events, including bake sales, a Christmas raffle, a Mother’s Day Baby Shower, and our signature Spring Fashion Show, which is our largest fundraiser of the year.
The generosity of our members and supporters allows us to partner with organizations such as Genesis House, Essential Pregnancy Center, Providence Connects, and NaNa’s House, helping provide vital resources and support to those they serve.
In addition to our charitable outreach, we come together in prayer and fellowship on the first Thursday of each month. These gatherings strengthen our faith, deepen our friendships, and renew our commitment to serving Christ through service to others.
