Thank You!

The Live Nativity was a huge success!  Thank you to all who were present to attend, to those who gave their time to act in the Nativity, to the choir for the beautiful music, to those who brought their family Nativities up, to the Knights of Columbus for providing the animals, and to those behind the scenes who made it all happen.  We can’t wait until next year as we continue to build on our new tradition.

Virtue of the Week: Joy

Is the pure gift of God’s grace and happiness.  It is beyond human seeking or what we can imagine for ourselves.

“You will show me the path to life, abounding joy in your presence, and the delights at your right hand forever.”

God our Father, we rejoice in the grace and happiness you share with us.  Help us to be carriers of your joy throughout the world.  We ask this through your Son our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Live Nativity

Friday, December 15th from 5 – 8 PM

Members of our parish will present a live nativity with music from our parish musicians.

Also, nativities brought in by parish families will be on display in the church.

The Religious Education department will be selling refreshments as a fundraiser for VBS.

Virtue of the Week

Heavenly Father, thank you for making me in your image and likeness.  Draw out the goodness in me so I can share the light of your love with others.

“Turn from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.” – Psalm 34:15

Is recognizing we are made in the image and likeness of God, and making choices to demonstrate our love for God and our neighbor.
